Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Essência da Luz uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They can be used to make a website function correctly, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the website or provide additional features.
Some cookies are essential for the operation of our website and online store. Other cookies are optional and will only be used where permitted by law and, where required, after you have given your consent.
2. What types of cookies do we use?
Our website may use the following categories of cookies:
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website and online store to function properly. They may be used, for example, for security, shopping cart functionality, checkout, payment processing and remembering your privacy preferences. Essential cookies do not require your consent where they are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.
Functional cookies
These cookies enable additional website functionality and may remember choices or preferences you make.
Analytics cookies
Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are visited and how visitors navigate through the site. Where consent is required, these technologies are only activated after you have agreed to their use.
Marketing and third-party cookies
These technologies may be used by third-party services or integrations, including social media services, to provide embedded content or measure interactions. Where required by law, they are only activated after you have given your consent.
3. Third-party services
Our website is built and hosted using Wix and may use services and integrations provided by Wix and third parties.
Depending on the features you use and your consent choices, cookies or similar technologies may be associated with services such as website functionality, our online store, payment services, analytics or social media integrations.
The specific cookies and technologies used may change when website services or third-party integrations are updated.
4. Cookie consent and preferences
When you first visit our website, you can choose which optional cookies and technologies you wish to allow through our cookie consent banner.
Cookies that require consent will not be activated before you have made the relevant choice.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings available on our website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. How long are cookies stored?
The duration for which a cookie remains on your device depends on the type of cookie.
Session cookies are generally deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies may remain on your device for a defined period or until you delete them.
More detailed information about individual cookies, their purposes and storage periods is available through our cookie consent tool, where applicable.
6. Managing cookies through your browser
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may affect the functionality of our website or prevent certain features, including parts of the online store or checkout, from working correctly.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our website, the technologies we use or applicable legal requirements change. The current version will always be available on this website.
