How it all began

In 2020 we left our corporate lives behind and moved to the Algarve in search of a different lifestyle and slower rhythm. What we found was more than we expected: a place that inspired us to live with purpose and create with intention.

First we renovated our boutique hotel Quinta da Luz and enjoyed having lovely guests. A few years later we started planting lavender as we have always loved this plant. And we had the wish to grow something beautiful.

Growing our own lavender

Today, lavender has become an important part of our story. We grow it here at Quinta da Luz, learning a little more with every season about the land, the plants and the patience they require.

Our first harvest was small, but it allowed us to begin working with our own lavender, essential oil and hydrolat. As our fields continue to grow and evolve, we hope to use more and more of what we produce ourselves.

Alongside this, we work with carefully selected ingredients and trusted Portuguese producers to create products that reflect the scents, simplicity and natural beauty of the Algarve.

We believe in the beauty of collaboration. That is why we work with talented artisans and small producers from Portugal who share our values and our passion for quality.

Together, we create natural products that are honest, sustainable and made to last.

Lavender became the heart of our brand, but never its limit.
